Factory.
The production shed is made up of a cutting section where all orders are cut and then put in a line-feeding system for quick and easy line replenishment to the 56 lines of manufacturing. The lines are set up to produce basic knit t-shirts and camisoles, 3-pack panties, leggings and basic bras. In addition to the production lines there are 2 sample lines to support our design development as well as a qc line to ensure a smooth change-over for new styles, minimizing downtime and quality issues.
Design & technology.
With an in-house design department working closely with global designers we proactively work to ensure our retail partners are constantly being given the latest trends to meet their specific needs.
To enhance the design phase of garment creation we work with the 3D design solution Vstitcher to enable a faster sampling process for our partners.
Our in-house graphic artists, pattern makers and technicians convert ideas and designs into tech packs to create the finished goods to be shipped to our global retail partners.
Equipment.
With an excess of 2,000 sewing machines, Lalibela has the vast flexibility to accommodate a wide range of styles and patterns with no downtime for repairs or maintenance.
The factory is also supported by the latest technology in cutting, printing and moulding.
