About us.
By acquiring the operations of Hop Lun Apparel Ethiopia, garment manufacturing was resumed in the Amhara region of Ethiopia under new investors, Lalibela Knits Ltd.
The new owners and management come from an extensive background in manufacturing for the largest global retailers and brands and the mission is to offer quality products at competitive prices with engagement and support of the local community in a sustainable manner.
Our factory.
The production shed is made up of a cutting section where all orders are cut and then put in a line-feeding system for quick and easy line replenishment to the 40 lines of manufacturing with end-line packing. The lines are set up to produce basic knit t-shirts and camisoles, 3-pack panties, leggings and basic soft bras. In addition to the production lines there are 2 sample lines to support our design development as well as a qc line to ensure a smooth change-over for new styles, minimizing downtime and quality issues.
